nitw media collective artist today is:

nick lyon who has been questioning religion, and religious figures.

  • when i was growing up i was introduced to religion. though i wasn’t quite sure why so many regions. there were about 2-5 main regions i think i knew of growing up, then i discovered hundreds more. we don’t know of all these belief systems though. we exist believing allot of the times what we were born into. we do convert now, and again. so my question is. where are your religious text leaders. the extent of my research as a young man was in this book called why so many religions. then I got older, and still was like why so many regions.

Do you guys ever cohabitate together? It’s not often you see a Messianic jew on a christian church stage. Why is that? Isn’t religion about life anyways. some of our regions do speak of fostering community, or it happens naturally.

today i maintain my belief that others feel as i feel too. lost trying to to figure out religion. I promote church because it offers community. I would go regularly again if I could get my friends to go with. i just don’t attend worship any longer. I grew out of that practice. ( read where is Jesus Christ post? to hear more )

I call out the religious leaders to start talking together more, with the purpose of figuring out where these historic figures are. Do you know Buddhist believe in reincarnation. What does that mean to a muslim, or hindu. Do your religions have similarities. What about christians. Do other religious texts have creation theories as well. My question is, is the answer to everything it is eternal. Says the tao. well does your congregation know of all that is out there. Regarding outside religions. How certain then are you of your current belief. If you don’t know what else life tried teaching us. Not saying I know. Just saying there is truth out there. Many just get stuck in their upbringing belief. Which could be true. Yes. Defend your belief.

Currently I practice, and began studying buddhism, though I still have my core beliefs as a christian in the story, and listen in to teachings. I like to question the tao when I don’t agree. What I’m not allowed to do that? Whats the tao you say. Google it. It’s a school of thought.

This theory stated about why our religions don’t talk is separation.  If you’re so afraid of conversion than you must not believe your story. Or the story you were taught. our church communities should have hold combined church community meetings/services.  So let’s start attending different “churches” Yes I call temples, and monasteries, and churches, and synagogues ect. Church. It’s an easier way to talk of instruction of religion. Just go to church.

  • I grew up in the church, and I learned the basic stories of the Bible with pictures, and repetition of the stories. It was engraved into my head. Then I grew older, and I would take notes in church, but don’t recall much review of the notes.  I then kept living my life normally. I learned the basics of moral code which is humans don’t hit each other. Yet we hit. Why you hit?

Ok so are we learning basic morality outside of church too? Because those basic moral principles I learned in church were so important to my development. It allowed me to push my own boundaries in the parts of society I never thought id see or experience. This basic moral word is what I call a dumb or stupid or great or solid decision. I don’t like this good person bad person thing all the time.

Like yo allot of people in life all the time really frigin mess up. And we need to re teach some basic stuff. You’re gonna be so much happier outside the crime world. That sh** ain’t the life. I fell in love with love. And it’s the most incredible feeling ever. If you want to experience the fear again, let’s have the authority chase you down an empty highway. Let’s replace this need to be a bad ass, and be a bad ass. It be frigin rad if we could just choose to make a great decision for our lives and leave yourself outside the bars, and concrete community.

So did we learn growing up? Some yes some no.

So let’s try teaching each other what each other knows.

Let’s go re review our notes intentionally. What did you learn in church last week? Just wondering.

Basic moral code is important, and should be emphasized at a young age. Additionally when you get older again some of us made a series of stupid decisions. And you didn’t learn. So I’m trying to teach you what I leaned. it wasn’t an easy life. And I’ve been through the wringer. I’ve also seen behind the bars. it’s not that the teachers aren’t teaching. It’s that we all learn different, and at different paces specifically.

We learn what we hear when we’re not on auto pilot. Get off auto pilot. Miss church every once in a while without guilt. Go apply or talk about last weeks. Then if you can’t remember what was talked about talk about then re review your notes. They speak about their religious beliefs, but those beliefs are about life. And often even in religion you forget it’s about living your life. Not just theses teachings we sit in listening to. You must live. You must make mistakes. You then need to correct. So let’s start over.

Do we actually listen to your teachers. ( Real quick this ins’t for everyone. This is just me questioning if you’re listening in church. ) Do you listen and apply? Or do you listen to feel good, which isn’t a bad thing. Church should make you feel good.

I think our teachers just need to say less words, and emphasis phrases to memory, and then how to apply.

  • direction for life.about life.regarding life.how to approach life.what to say in life.how to say it.what to do.what not to do.or.just direction for life.

written by historic figures in history. practiced by modern aged people.

  • I started questioning the story after i myself thought i was jesus christ. i then went into the theory that he didn’t exist as where, and why would you hide, and not show up. i exposed a hole in the story. why would we worship someone who didn’t show up, and why would you defame someone who speaks of love, and heavenly things. some have faith, and some have curious faith. everyone believes in something. your belief this was a chance accident is as true as your theory it was made by god. the only existence of god to people is the spiritual connection you hold to the planet we live on and experiences we have here. also known as the stories we tell, and hear or that were told. you are aware of the story of jesus christ, just not all are aware of his presence in your life. as it’s a spiritual connection or a feeling based on stories of the past. some don’t tap into that. yet both are free beings. if you don’t believe in jesus christ, then you still should still maintain belief something is alive. the tree grows, as did the story of a tree. as do questions, as do people who questioned how the tree grew. we identified life, or something that is alive. like us. and we have this wild story of a man on a tree. again the story grew.

i discovered that spiritual battles are real. I myself went through a few battles of belief. i got angry at jesus christ, then buried the idea into the ground. I became an atheist. i then went on to question how wifi, how babies learn, and what happened with the whole ad/bc thing. something clearly transpired on this planet. wifi alone gives me purpose of a power out there. that we were made, and this isn’t random. i however questioned the story off and on for years through my own belief. only to discover that jesus christ still hasn’t shown up. i did change my tune back to christian theory, and buddhist practice as I believe in reincarnation, and i believe there is an end to suffering long term. i believe the cross story tells us of what suffering is, and the promise to end it. it’s also a poem. I then discovered the world was in still utter chaos. has been for a long time, as people are killing people still in 2025. it blew my mind. how is this possible. so i am back to the theory that the name is a guide, as are his words. the question i am proposing is why not show up in person. this is why we have faith though. that redemption is possible, and it’s a real person. i will wait for him just know i have a few questions. your only excuse is your story. i have mine. it ends in love as it began in love. so god so loved the world that he gave his only son. to suffer. then to rise. so i will wait for the sun to rise. or son. my belief is he is real. my frustration is from a spiritual awakening. the promise of a better tomorrow today is not a far cry, it just hasn’t happened yet. some see, some wait to see. the blessing is sight itself. it be a blessing to see you, but i don’t know you. sometimes i don’t even know myself. what do we really know about jesus christ. ever think about that? i mean where are you?

  • It be great if the church and government would work together. Its call the cohabitation of church and state, not the separation. We the people. Some churched some not. Just don’t be pushing religion on people. Push friendship.
